- Hold citizenship in one of the ESA Member States: Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom. But here’s where it gets controversial: nationals from Associate Members like Latvia, Lithuania, and Slovakia, as well as Cooperating States like Canada, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, and Malta, are also eligible.
